Well, here goes nothing. This is the first post in what I hope to make a daily thread of images and writing relating to things I have come across as I blunder through life, so unlike much of my other work, this should contain no fiction.

Initially I do expect to post mainly photos, but this should change as the days tick over. I have just returned from a two week trip to Sydney (the term 'whirlwind tour' is often thrown around, but in this case it is pretty applicable!) and the jetlag still lingers, but there's is a lot of work to be done and I took a ton of photos, so I'll give it a good go.
