Petronas!
Very impressive structures and getting lost in the cloud only added to the scale. Great stuff.
I've got a bunch more snaps of the towers, but I won't fall into that trap right, so they'll get posted in the future.

Back to KL!
These snaps are from the bus trip and arriving back in Kuala Lumpur after two days in Melacca. It was bucketing down as only the tropics can, so at least it wasn't humid anymore!
We checked back into our hotel and got an upgraded room. Of course we later discovered that our luggage had been pilfered in lock-up, so for future reference, the Furama is great, but put your stuff in the safe!
Next it was off to gawk at the Petronas Towers, which were well worth the visit, except inside it was just another mall before Christmas, really.
Melacca Incidental
Day two in Melacca we were wandering around a little, slowly making our way back to the central station to catch the bus back to KL. It's interesting how, once you get the tourist bullshit out of the way you relax and then start seeing what a place is really about. I generally prefer doing this, but Melacca is so geared towards the tourism industry that it's hard to sidestep. I'll try harder next time!
After witnessing the covert disposal of one of the less fortunate caged rabbits(to the dismay of the petshop owner), we caught the bus and headed into the most ferocious tropical downpour. The sky in the last picture is an indication of this.
